KS4

Our two-year KS4 curriculum typically allows students to achieve 8 GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications.

To gain the English Baccalaureate (EBACC), which is often a requirement of top ranking universities in the country, students must secure a good pass in the following subjects: English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, two GCSEs in Science, History or Geography and a Modern Foreign Language. When providing GCSE options information to our students, we impress the importance of the English Baccalaureate if a student wishes to study at a Higher Education level in the future. Increasing aspiration and self-confidence has seen a year on year increase in students opting for this route, a pathway that is open to all students.
