Support students’ understanding of how to create and  maintain a professional image, both offline and online. Provide a broad curriculum which identifies and develops employability skills.

Respect

Promote high expectations of behaviour that is deeply rooted in respect, respect for peers, staff, environment and the wider community.

Provide a PHSE and RSE curriculum which encourages students to develop self-esteem, understand the value of positive relationships and recognise when relationships are not respectful.

Independence

Emphasise the importance of outcomes and actively teach students strategies which help them learn and achieve.

Provide quality opportunities for students to consider the causes and consequences of risk taking behaviour, so that they are well equipped to keep themselves healthy and safe.

Determination

Actively support and celebrate high standards in attendance and punctuality.

Promote a love of challenge through aspirational learning outcomes and extra-curricular experiences.

Promote mental health and stress management strategies so that students can overcome barriers.

Excellence

Analyse the progress of every student in every area of the curriculum, to ensure timely intervention and promote excellent outcomes.

Provide opportunities to demonstrate British Values in order to become a positive, contributing citizen
